Died Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Providence Place in Fremont.
Bill was born December 2, 1948 in Omaha to William W. and Josephine 'Poloncic' Wilt. He was raised in Omaha and graduated from North High. After high school he worked for Baxter Auto, Union Pacific Railroad and finally retiring from ConAgra. In retirement he worked at Sid Dillon's delivering cars.
Bill married Susan Ringus on June 10, 1978 in Mason City, Iowa. The couple continued living in Fremont. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching Husker football and bowling. As a couple they loved to play pitch tournaments at the Fremont Friendship Center and traveling. He enjoyed attending and watching his grandkids play sports. Bill also attended First Lutheran Church in Fremont.

Tiffany (Trent) Mehl of Grants Pass, OR and their family Tyler (Michelle) and great grandchild Rowan
Sister - Sandy Svendsen of Omaha
Brother - Richard 'Dick' Wilt (Jeanette Legband) of Fremont
Brother-in-law - Chuck (Lana) Ringus of Clear Lake, IA.

Bill was preceded by his parents, brother-in-law Walt Svendsen and nephew Kevin Smith.
There is no viewing but the family will receive friends at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm. The memorial service will be 10:30am, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at First Lutheran Church in Fremont, burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Fremont Friendship Center.
