Bonnie L. Desterhouse, age 87, of Fremont
Died Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha

Bonnie was born October 10, 1936 in Fremont to Eugene and Dorothy 'Pollock' Keating. She was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School. Bonnie married William 'Bill' Ishmiel on August 27, 1956 in Fremont and they continued to live in Fremont. They later divorced. Bonnie then married Bernard Desterhouse on September 27, 1978. They lived in Valley before returning to Fremont. For many years Bonnie worked as a care giver.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Bernard in 2021, son David Ishmiel, daughter Debra Ishmiel and son-in-law Jerry Moos.

The funeral will be 10:30am, Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Deacon Joe Uhlik will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel.
